HOW DO YOU GET THERE?

Well, it's pretty far. Ha ha ha. No, really. First you have to get to the Busuanga Airport in Palawan.

The plane trip is only around 55 minutes, so you really don't have that much time to sleep. But, arriving via air is incredibly amazing! You can see the Calamianes group of islands overhead, looking like giant emerald stones!

From the airport, rent a van. They don't charge per van; they charge only Php 150 per head. Besides, most of them are pretty polite. To look for a better van rental, just ask for this person: Tawini (Da Pooh). That's his real name. He's very charming, but sometimes a bit loud. But he's cool and funny.

And then you arrive in the principal town of Coron.
